The Mirror with Wings, June 2016. Experimental Butoh mixed-media performance with short film, produced in collaboration with Daniel Fernández, Butoh dancers Yuri Nagaoka and Seisaku, calligrapher Ryo Honda, composer Ida Soraya Klint, and translator Veronika Melekhina, duration 90 minutes. Rethinking Peace Studies Conference, International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan.

Sacred Soundwalks, April 2016 – 2017. Transmedia website with sound recordings from 9 geo-located Soundwalks in Kathmandu, Nepal, produced in collaboration with writer Rabi Thapa, photographer Kevin Bubriski, and filmmaker Kesang Tseten. Commissioned as part of the Kailash Cartographies project supported by the India China Institute (ICI), The New School.

Tawfiq’s Reef (Palestine/USA), October 2016. Producer (with Roger Hill), documentary short in Arabic with English subtitles, duration 6:30 minutes. Commissioned for the Gaza from Within film series supported by the Geneviève McMillan-Reba Stewart Foundation. Premiered at Boston Palestine Film Festival, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Return to Seifa Village (Palestine/USA), October 2015. Producer (with Roger Hill and Anne Paq), documentary short in Arabic with English subtitles, duration 11 minutes. Commissioned for Gaza from Within film series supported by the Geneviève McMillan-Reba Stewart Foundation. Premiered at Boston Palestine Film Festival, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Zona Intervenida (Guatemala/USA), July 2015. Director (with Bonifaz Díaz), feature-length documentary film in Spanish with English subtitles, duration 60 minutes. Premiered at Ciudad de la Imaginación, Quetzaltenango, Guatemala and screened at the NYU Hemispheric Institute, NY.

Flying Paper (Palestine/USA), May 2013. Director (with Roger Hill), award-winning feature-length documentary film in Arabic, subtitled in English, Spanish and French, duration 71 minutes (Director’s Cut) and 52 minutes (Broadcast Cut). Distributed by Journeyman Pictures, U.K. Premiered at the London Palestine Film Festival, London, U.K.

Flying Paper: Feature-length documentary film based in Gaza, 2010-2013.

Voices Beyond Walls (Palestine/USA), 2006 – 2012. Director and Producer, collection of over 70 short films (fiction and nonfiction) in Arabic, subtitled in English and French, duration 3-15 minutes, produced as part of participatory media and digital storytelling workshops conducted with Palestinian youth and children from refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem. Premiered at numerous international children’s film festivals and community-based screenings.
